La Dolce Vita
Due to popular demand our next “First Sunday Junior Rapid” is going to be at the La Dolce Vita cafe in Milton. Places are limited due to space considerations so book early. The link to the entry form is below.

WILDE WEEKENDER
On the 18th & 19th of May Doubleroo will host the inaugural WILDE WEEKENDER at the Serbian Club.
This tournament is open to players of all ages. Full details can be found in the Events Calendar.
It will surely be a fantastic weekend.

FSKO Grand Final
Here is the Video of the beginning and the end of the grand final between Alexander Dessus and Henry Slater-Jones. Who says that Chess is not a spectator sport?
As you can see Henry {black} goes into the ending a pawn up. Alexander defended tenaciously and took advantage of some errors. Fitness may have played a role, judge for yourself.
